We need your help
Epsom Girls Grammar School (EGGS) Rowing Club has a strong and proud rowing history.  We have produced champion rowers such as Kayla Pratt (Gold at 2014 World Champs, Bronze at 2013 World Champs) and Lexi Kerr (Gold in Trans-Tasman Cup 2014).

Closer to home, we had our most successful National Secondary School Championship regatta (Maadi Cup) in 2017, with two gold and one silver medal in our 8+ crews.

We consistently have crews placing in A-Finals across all regattas attended throughout the rowing season and a growing pool of rowers showing talent under the guidance of our new Head Coach, which is pushing us ever closer to our aim of being.... The best girl's school rowing club in New Zealand!

What we need
We have slowly progressed our capital replacement programme over the last 5 years and have an established fleet currently.  However, this fleet has been well utilised and there are now signs of wear and tear & we are needing to embark on a refurbishment programme to a number of boats to ensure their continued usage & durability.

The Covid pandemic years, with its prolonged lockdowns, has affected the Club enormously, especially operationally.  The Club membership no's dropped to an all time low, which is the Club's primary source of revenue.  This has impacted the Club's ability to operate, especially in essential areas, such as regatta attendance, affiliation fees, rental fees & fleet maintenance.

How you can help
Epsom Girls Grammar School is a large decile 9 school; that means limited financial support is available to us.  As the school rowing club, we have to rely almost entirely on a wider network of businesses that see value in supporting young women in sport and leadership.

Why sponsor Epsom Rowing?
