Music Trivia Quiz Night - Fundraising Update

Thank you to all the families so far who have bought a table and donated items for the auction. To make this night a success we need more auction items as we are still light on these.  If you haven't done so already, please look  through all  your contacts and see what they could donate or what services they offer that could be auctioned off. If you do have any contacts, or if you can think of something we can auction, please contact Karen Humphries this week on 027 522 8071 or karenhumphries22@gmail.com

To date we have accommodation vouchers at Heritage, Rydges, Pullman, Scenic and Sudima Hotels., a café lunch with Lucy Lawless for 2 girls with a theme of girl power, a beautifully boxed bottle of whiskey signed by John Key, cupcakes made by our resident baking queen – Claudia Frew, Verve Cliquot and other boxed wine. and two Bach weekends at Taupo and Waiheke.

We are really looking forward to a great evening and it is a good excuse for a social get-together at this time of the rowing season.  But remember, we also have an important goal - to raise $30,000 to replace the old blades for new ones.

We have set a target of selling one table per family and one auction item from each family.  This can be large or small as every bit helps.  On the night (depending on what we receive) we will have helium balloons for sale with $20, $30, $50 items attached.

If you cannot buy a table or donate an auction item, we would appreciate if you could make some brownies for the evening.

The evening:

Included in the ticket sale is the music quiz, supper of ham, rolls and Zarbo condiments, followed up with brownies and tea and coffee to be served after the quiz has finished.  We have received a request to sell bubbles this year and I am pleased to advise that this is on the menu!
