Congratulations to Epsom Rowing Old Girls Kayla Pratt (2005-9) and Anna de Long (2006-9)who gained medals at the National Rowing Championship finals last week.

Kayla Pratt’s Auckland RPC crew won the Women’s Premier Coxless Four event.  This is Kayla’s first premier title and as part of rowing tradition she received a red blazer, known as a 'Redcoat'. Epsom can be proud to claim our first ‘redcoat’ rower. The winning crew also included Kelsey Bevan,  who visited the EGGS Rowing Camp with Kayla earlier this season.
Kayla  also won a Bronze medal in the Premier Pairs

Kayla has been training at Karapiro as part of the Elite summer squad and will begin trials next week for Olympic selection.

Anna de Long, one of our Deputy Head girls in 2009 gained a Bronze medal competing in the Senior Women’s Eight rowing for North Shore Club.
