The inspiration behind Samoa Water began with the chance discovery of a sacred water catchment, created some 3,000 years ago and embedded deep within the coastal rainforests of Upolu Island overlooking Satapuala Village. Samoa is one of the world’s most remote and untouched places with an entirely pure ecosystem and zero industrialisation - a virtual unspoiled Garden of Eden! The source’s 7,000 acres of land is organically certified by NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia), and replenished by rains falling on a volcanic peak 6,000 ft above sea-level. Over 300 ft of volcanic rock protects the aquifer from pollution and other contaminants. Samoa Water is a low mineralised but moderately hard water, with a healthy content of silica and bicarbonates.
