Graders Farewell

Come and join us for Grader's farewell  on Sunday, 11 October at 4pm at the ARC.

The naming ceremony of our new 8+ will also take place at the same time. All members will be asked to bring a plate to share for the event.

The growth, development and success of EGGS Rowing is a credit to the hard work and commitment of our rowers, coaches, parents and supporters. Many are involved for a few years, and a precious few for many years.

Over the last ten years Epsom Rowing has enjoyed the long and dedicated contribution of one of these long serving individuals - 'Grader' Howells - who has been a mainstay in developing the club to where it is today. At the end of last season Grader announced his retirement from coaching.

The Epsom Rowing committee invite you to a function at the Auckland Rowing Club on Sunday, 11 October at 4pm to celebrate Grader's wonderful contribution. Many of you will have fond memories of Grader, so it would be great if you could join us to show your appreciation and take the opportunity to catch up with some other past rowers and club supporters.

We will also be taking the opportunity to recognise the recent arrival of the club's second new KIRS 8 with the naming of our latest acquisition.

Please bring a bottle and plate of nibbles to share. We look forward seeing you there.
